An idea born from the passion to make an impact. Sam and Jasmine have long dreamed of creating a space that is warm and welcoming with the intention of giving back. Mutually in love with reading, crafting, making connections, and of course, sweets, Sam and Jasmine concocted the idea of a bookstore / dessert bar that would host workshops and events to deliver resources and entertainment to those who need it. We are excited to share our online bookshop now and hope to invite the community to a physical location in the future.

 

Prologue's brick-and-mortar location is intended to provide a safe space that feels like home away from home with no pressure to purchase. With the intention of bringing back third spaces and  community, Prologue will offer a quiet space that allows for people to work, relax, meet new people, and learn. Rooted in the community, Prologue aims to be able to provide free services such as a community fridge and pantry, sessions to help with career planning, resume writing, and interview prep, to name a few.
